Caregiver of the year award
This award will be presented annually to caregivers for recognition of individuals who provide care to those in need, who go above and beyond their normal job description to provide professional, quality services to enhance the quality of their clients lives. Caregivers work is often difficult. Caregivers will be nominated by their companies, clients and others in the community throughout the greater Lansing area.
Eligible candidates are judged in the following 5 areas:
Compassion-serving clients with the utmost care and consideration, allowing them to maintain dignity and respect.
Dependability- attendance and reliability, providing quality care consistently
Integrity- quality of being honest and having strong moral principles
Accountability- The obligation of an individual care provider or organization to account for its actions, accept responsibility for them, strong work ethic and honesty
Excellence- providing the best possible care available at all times, experience in the healthcare industry equivalent to at least 2 years.
The Caregiver of the Year Award was created to enhance the lives of individuals who are enhancing the lives of those in need. Performing above and beyond their normal job descriptions, these special individuals provide services which enrich the quality of their clients/patients lives. The award not only honors these outstanding caregivers, it serves to provide life-changing opportunities for its recipients!
Throughout the year we will choose one caregiver a month to honor as Caregiver of the Month, who will then be honored as a nominee for the annual caregiver award. To nominate a caregiver post a short comment on the DRM GENESIS Facebook page, telling us what makes the individual nominee special, and then go to 'Nominate' on the Welcome Page on DRM Genesis Facebook page to complete the nominee application. Both parts must be complete to be considered for nomination. Each month a caregiver will win movie passes and a dinner gift certificate. Stay posted to the website and Facebook to see winners.
